My goals were to make All Conference again and to be a more vocal leader on and off the field. Another goal of mine was to lead the conference in tackles. I ended up 3rd in the in tackles.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I think they would say that I make the players around me better. I make sure everyone knows their responsibility and I come prepared every game.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I mostly look at the formations and the plays they are running. I imagine myself on the field and think about what’s my responsibility & job during every play I watch.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I think what separates me is just my IQ for the game. There are many situation throughout a game were maybe y’all didn’t go over a specific formation or motion but I feel like I still get the defense in the right situation & I feel like you can’t teach that.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I am going to find somewhere to train & prepare for my pro day. I plan on improving my 40 time and just sharpen up my movement.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I am a great tackler and I love contact. In today’s game it’s all about making open field tackles and that’s what I do best. I know the game inside and out and I am a great teammate very unselfish.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I am a good football player but I am an even better person. I am a hard worker and will do whatever is best for the team to be successful.
