What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I set out my last season wanting to be an All-American and be one of the best players in my conference, I accomplished both.
Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
I took advantage by maximizing my opportunities out on the field. During the Covid year, I earned All-American honors. This half of a year gave me the chance to add onto my collegiate football résumé.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say that I am a hardworking, dedicated leader who leads by example and always shows up ready to put his head down and go to work.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When watching film I like to look at the different offensive line tendencies that they tend to give. I like looking for certain weaknesses that I can exploit come game day.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I believe my quickness off the ball, along with my hand and foot work separates me from other defensive lineman. I think I can be more disruptive to offenses than a lot of other guys.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My off-season plans are going to be to continue to build my overall strength with an extensive strength program, along with building up my speed and quickness with speed and agility drills.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Some strengths I will bring to a team is being a very versatile defensive lineman. I bring great pass rush ability and very good run stopping abilities that could appeal to some teams.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
All I need is an opportunity. If I get one opportunity, I can promise you will not be disappointed. I will take full advantage and will prove to you that I belong.
