Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

The goals set for my final season were more team based then individual. I wanted to continue to be the captain my coaches know me to be. Win our conference which unfortunately we fell short of and to win back to back bowl games. I wanted to be the best tight end in my conference while also growing as a player, mentor, and man.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say that my football IQ is very high I am a big physical athletic body with reliable hands that will produce and step up in big moments when needed, has the ability to create and dominate mismatches with Linebackers or smaller defenders.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I try to focus on the tendencies of the opposing defense, who their key players are and what techniques they like to use so that I can try and gain an advantage and know exactly what I want to do off the line of scrimmage.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me is the fact that I am not scared to work hard and I do not shy away from competition. I have the ability to play in the slot or out wide at X or Z and still make big plays. I also have the willingness to play special teams or wherever my coaches need me.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plan is to keep my body in top shape, change my diet and get bigger while working out with my strength coach along with working on my speed and precise route running with Atlet performance training facility in Midlothian Texas.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I am extremely athletic and versatile as a tight end who can play split out wide and/or in the slot. I have the ability to take advantage of mismatches on the field at any point in the game, and am a great leader on and off the field. I am someone who can be relied on in any given situation, along with community work in which I love and cherish.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I’ve worked extremely hard to get to this point and the work will not stop. I will give 110 percent with everything I do. I am not a player who they will have to worry about getting in trouble. And I will come ready to work day in and day out every time I step foot in the facilities.
