Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

Well a goal I had this season for myself was making my presence felt in the game, no matter if it was forcing a turnover, to getting a safety, or putting pressure on the quarterback. I was voted MVP of the College Gridiron Showcase top group (Wranglers) after a stellar performance. I was called up to play in the feature game after, playing very well in the earlier game (Desperados Group). I took full advantage of the opportunity and that’s what big time players are suppose to do.

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

They would say I’m an athlete that endures the work and brings it to practice everyday. They also will say I’m a team player with a great motor.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

For me, analyzing my film first. I check to make sure I went through my progression. Then, I watch my steps to make sure my footwork is correct and took the proper steps. I then check to see my hands and their placement and if they are moving.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

I’m relentless on my rush, never quit on plays, and I have a great motor. I’m always putting in work to get better, so I’m chasing perfection of my craft. Hard work beats talent when talent don’t work hard.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I will gain weight and continue to work flexibility and good hips. I also will continue to work at my explosion of the ball. I will work a lot with proper running technique to demonstrate my speed.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I will bring great energy and attitude to a team. I’ll bring great competitiveness and give good disruption on quarterbacks. Also, big student of the game, recognize plays by formations and personnels.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

I’m a guy that’s big on character, I believe in loyalty. I bring a winners attitude, hate losing more than I love winning. I love putting the work in, so at some point I have to reap the reward.
