Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My goal was to be a leader on the field and to give our team the best chance to win. While the season didn’t turn out the way we wanted, we had a very prolific offense and I had a good season.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I believe my coaches would say that I am a very dedicated, smart, and reliable player. A guy who cares more about winning and the program than individual accomplishments.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I first watch myself and watch my feet, then my eyes, then my hands. I am my harshest critic and focus on what I can improve on. Then I watch the opponent and find tendencies and pass rush moves.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
There are a few things that truly separate myself. First is my football IQ. Secondly is my ability to be coachable. And lastly is my willingness to do anything to help the team.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I have been training with Clancy Barone in Las Vegas the last couple of week’s leading up to the FCS Bowl. I will be training in a few places perfecting my craft and getting ready for my Pro Day.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I am a leader both on and off the field. I plan on coaching when I am done playing and that makes me learn a playbook as if I were going to be teaching it.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I have been working at both guard and center and will come in and work my tail off. I will be ready for any opportunity that comes my way and I will make sure that I make the most of it.
