Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
I had a chance to focus on the small things that could make me better like improve my footwork for run blocking, working on hip mobility and working inside hand placement. This extra year also gave me a chance to study my film snd learn more about seeing defense tendencies also being able to recongize fronts to coverages. The extra year also help me build strength with the extra workouts that I was able to have while also building a stronger bond with my teammates and giving me a chance to help the younger tight-ends in the meeting room.

While studying the film I usually try and focus on the small details in my game like my footwork while also keeping pad level low and how aggressive my initial punch is and finishing the block. When it comes to route running I try and focus on depth coverage recognition understanding and capturing the defenders leverage and bursting out of my breaks to create separation. Also studying the film trying to gain the competitive edge on our opponent with the game plan that was given that week identifying probable defenders and trying to pick apart their weaknesses in the run or pass game.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
