Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I set goals to play in every game this season and start and I accomplished that. I also wanted to be an academic all American and I achieved that as well.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I’m a leader on the field with not as much words but more with actions and they way that I carry myself off the field. On the field, I am a Swiss Army knife and can play multiple positions up front. I can both rush the pass rusher and play the run very well.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I focus on the fundamentals. I make sure that I am taking all of the coaching that I receive in practice and applying it to the game.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I am able to play the run and the pass equally as well. Most people do not like striking blocks and playing the run and I feel like I do that well.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Just take it one day at a time and to trust the process. Also, to make sure I am eating right and doing all the recovery things for my body.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My integrity. I try my best to always do the right thing both on and off the field. I also approach everything in my life like I have something to prove. This way, I will never get complacent with where I am in life.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I believe I can help a team because I am very versatile and can play multiple positions on the defensive line. I can do it all from setting the edge to rushing the passer. I believe that I will be a great addition to a team because I am a great leader and teammate as well. I will do whatever it takes to win.
