What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I wanted to come in and make an impact while winning a championship. We fell short of the championship aspect, but I believe my game improved and I helped make an impact here on this growing program.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I showed I can play a full season. I had injuries every year at Troy which cost me games I wish I could have back. It cause me to play conservative but I let go this year and came out with no injuries.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

All of my coaches would say that I am a TEAM player. I am all about whats doing best for the team to win. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to win even if it may not fit my best interest.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I love looking at tendencies and stances. Pre snap reads and indicators can give me an advantage at my position.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I believe my mental aspect will separate me. The ability to learn an apply things fast. I’m a student of the game. I will coach in my future.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I’ve been trying to lose fat and gain muscle. I look pretty good right now. Praying an opportunity shows up.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Like I said earlier, I am a team guy. I’m a locker room guy. I bond with everyone. I just want to win, its not about me and my success. My success comes from the team’s success.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I’ve always been the dark horse and that’s fine. I just need a shot and I can handle the rest from there.
