Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I just wanted to show my versatility and that I am as good as I think I am!
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
For Coaches, I’d say I’m a headache in a good way because I’m always looking to show what I can do and what I’m capable of. But for teammates, I think they’d say that I’m a good player to play next too and that I’m a even better guy to be around off the field as well since I care more about the guy than I do the athlete!
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
The guy I know I will encounter the most and just focus on his strengths and learn to take away his strengths before exploiting his weaknesses.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
The nothing to lose mindset. I know I’m close to playing professionally but just as close to never playing again, so I treat it all like it’s potentially my last time doing it!
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Becoming more explosive and smart with my diet, while doing more to take care of my body.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Eager to stay in shape and motivate others, my sense of humor, my bigger picture attitude, my ability to handle the distractions that may present themselves, and the ability to properly communicate with others about any and everything.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
It may sound cliche but I’m a hard worker! It won’t be too many times I turn down putting in extra work to make myself and teammates better. I’ve also been blessed to play for great programs and with great players that taught me how to conduct myself in a professional manner. I won’t be a liability for any team I’m on, if I’m even given an opportunity to get invited to a camp I’ll make that team better!
