1st team All-OVC Defense, 100+ Tackles, 10+ wins, Conference Champions, FCS Playoff appearance

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Coaches and teammates would say that I am the “heartbeat” of the team. I’m a hard worker and great leader who leads by example. They would also say that I am an inspiration to everyone around me.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When studying film I focused on tendencies from alignments of my opponent, formations, personnel, down and distance, and situations.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I am a player who benefits my team, not only physically, but also mentally and spiritually. I am a team player who loves playing whatever role I need to play that will put my team in the best position to win. I am a great leader and inspiration to everyone around me. I’m extremely consistent day in and day out. You can trust me on and off the field.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My off season plan to train is to become the best player possible for the next level, physically, mentally, and emotionally. I will train to be bigger, faster, stronger, and learn to understand the game as if I am coaching it. I will also eat as healthy as possible and do a lot of prehabilitation to ensure that my body can withstand a 16, possibly 20 game season.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I am a strong and versatile defensive back who is a great open field tackler, with the ability to get big and shifty backs on the ground. I am a quick learner, leader, motivator, and inspiration to many.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

I am extremely consistent, day in and day out, on and off the field. I pick up on schemes quickly. I am a man of my word. I have high character, and my actions speak for their self. I’m honest, trustworthy, a play maker, and student of the game. I benefit teams physically, mentally, and emotionally. Nothing was given to me, everything was earned. I love football so much that I slept in my car and paid most of my way through college from loans, all because I had a vision of what I could achieve, and did not let anything hinder me or stop me from achieving that goal. I started out as a walk-on that no one knew about, on a team that went 0-11 the previous years. I ended up earning a scholarship, becoming a 2x All-Conference Safety, and a Team Captain of a Team who won the first OVC Championship for Austin Peay since 1977, advancing to the playoffs for the first time in school history, setting a program record with 11 wins in one season. Arguably the best team in school history.
