Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I believe I played well in my extra year of eligibility. I was able to notch another All-GLVC honor under my belt. I started and played the majority of the season (missed 3 games due to injury). I was able to improve my technique and expand my knowledge of the offensive scheme this year as well. I believe I was able to take the next step in my game to increases my chances at playing at the next level.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Coaches would say I’m a student of the game. I enjoy absorbing all of the technique work I can. My teammates would say I am Crafty with a physical and aggressive attitude. I am a leader in and off the field. And I have no problems setting the aggressive nature for an offense.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I like to focus on my feet. My steps will lead me to my aiming point where I can latch on and finish the block. A OL with nice feet is dangerous.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I believe what seperates myself from other pro prospects would be my ability to understand situational football and the “ins and outs” of the game. What would be the best techniques and approaches to each block. Whether that is a change of aiming point, footwork, or strike. Understanding my opponent through fil study is very important. I like to know what my opponents favorite moves are on 1st, 2nd or 3rd down… run game or pass game. Along with knowing my specific opponents I like to get a feel for their overall scheme. How are they coached? What is their responsibilities as a defense.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plan this Off-Season is to hits weights hard early. At the next level, everyone is gonna be bigger and stronger. Then balance it out with movement and flexibility later into the Spring. Over the next few months, I will be training at The Haven in St. Louis. Can’t wait to get in there with the staff and start training.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I believe some strengths I bring to a team would be my motivation and grit. I LOVE getting after people in the trenches. And no moment is to big for me.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to the NFL and other Professional Leagues, would be that I am eager to learn from the best and excited to start working. I am ready to prove my craft. I have been consistent in my last few playing years, bringing in 3x All-GLVC honors. I have plenty of game experience along with 25 starts to my belt. Whoever decides to take a chance on me will get a baller and won’t regret it.
