Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

One of the goals that I set for myself was to win All Conference in the GLIAC and I ended up accomplishing that.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Coach Lavelle Walker “Versatile, physical, and determined, won’t be denied”. Julius Wilkerson “Playing style is a physical run stopper who posses the ability to guard in the slot. What you lack in size you make up for in your combination of speed and power”. I think these answers it!

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I start with formations/personnel and looking for weakness within those. Then I move onto top plays with those formations and personnel. After that I would say I am looking for tendencies and tips to possibly identify those plays before the ball is even being snapped. The reason I watch film that way is so I can play fast. Beat them to the point and be able to be the attacker.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I feel like my versatility. I am strong enough to play inside the box, but I am also fast enough to play in the secondary. I think my mindset as well. Like my coach said, I refuse to be denied.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I either plan to train with my strength coach at Davenport. Or there are possibilities for me to go down to Florida to train with Larry Ryan’s. Whatever one I do, all I know is I am putting my head down and working.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I am a high character guy. I am always put team first over myself. I also feel like the passion I bring to the field and to the locker room.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I love this game and I would love to continue playing it. All I need is one chance to let me prove myself. I promise you’ll be happy with the outcome.
