Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I set the goal of earning 1st all-conference for the 3rd year in a row. While I didn’t attain my goal of earning 1st team honors, I earned 3rd team and that gives me a chip on my shoulder with a lot to prove.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say that I am a vocal and assertive leader that is willing to do anything to make sure his unit/team is successful. They would also say that I am very competitive, driven.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When I am watching film, I mainly watch film of myself to see where I went wrong on my technique (hand placement, footwork, leverage), I also watch my successful plays to see what I did to replicate my success. As well as watching film of NFL players to see how the pros do it, my favorite center to watch is Jason Kelce.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from other prospects is that I am a fast learner. I started as a true freshman at UCF and ended up starting 50 games straight and the reason I was about to do so was simply because I came in and learned the plays like the back of my hand and the coaches could trust me to go out and do what they asked and as the center, instill confidence in the rest of the offensive line to get us all on the same page.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

During the off-season, I plan to train with Tom Shaw Performance, the same place that I trained for pre-draft training. I also want to start a nonprofit organization that is an after school program for the youth similar to the Boys and Girls Club and I plan to work on that during the off-season.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The strengths and abilities that I will bring to a team are my abilities to get to the second level on linebackers in the run game via either pulling, double teaming or simply dipping my shoulder and escaping. As well being able to loud and vocal to make calls and communicate with my teammates. And the strength and the grit to finish my blocks. Off the field, I am a people person, I have the personality that will allow me to gel with any group of guys. I also want to be a philanthropist one day because I am a giver by nature.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL/CFL or any other pro leagues?

My final pitch is that no team will be disappointed by having me as a part of their organization because I am a guy that you want to keep around due to my effort, demeanor, willingness to learn and the selflessness to put my selfish needs aside for the betterment of the team.
