Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The goals I set was not only to be a huge part of my offense/Team but give myself enough film to put myself out there. With me wanting to be a huge part of the offense and the team, I wanted to help turn the program around with it being 2-8 the previously year.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches would say that I’m a work horse, teachable, a leader, understands the playbook and always asking questions, quiet at times, and dependable. My teammates would say I’m someone that is willing to put my body on the line, willing to lead the pack, and a mentor since I’m one of the oldest guys.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When studying film, I am focusing on what the offensive linemen are doing, what the defensive is giving me from a look standpoint, the outlets that i may have in a run, and if I’m a lead blocker what paths I can take to clear a hole. Also, I am looking at what other teams are succeeding at against the team I’m facing.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me from other pro prospects at my position is being versatile, be able to play Runningback,Fullback, H-Back, or Tightend, whether it’s in the box or flexed out. I am willing to put my body on the line and stick my nose in any work I can find.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Currently, I am training with Win Performance, with Kerry Neal, Pete Houlihan, Kyle Wagley, Landon Cox, and Brandon Gaston are all a part of that team. I typically train 5 days a week where we focus on power, agility, speed, active recovery, mobility, and the small details that will set me apart from other guys at my position.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My strengths and abilities that I will bring to a team that stands out on and off the field is the will to learn every day and help every day, being a work horse, being a guy that pays attention to the small details, being someone who always be one of the first to the facility and one of the last ones to leave the facility. Being able to have knowledge to pay attention to everyone’s assignment.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
The last thing I want to leave is I am a guy who is willing bring energy to the team, I am willing to give my last to my teammates, I am a great teammate, I will speak to everyone from the top of the organization down to the bottom, and I will always be a guy that is willing to learn and grow as a young man on and off the field.
