Position: Inside Linebacker
Height: 5’11”

Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

Heading in to my season, my main goal was to leave everything I had on the field. I wanted to develop a strong leader type role and help my team accomplish our goals with winning conference and trying to make a playoff run.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Calm, hungry, passionate.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

The way I’ll train this offseason would be working on being more explosive to take my game to the next level and also I would like to work on my fast twitch muscles more to help my reaction time, and it’s always key to work on speed.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

When I watch film, the main thing I look at is the O-Line. I looked at tendencies to try and figure out if there is certain things that an O-Lineman will do to give you a clue to to the play. As a Linebacker, reading the line is going to take you to the play. I also watch how the Running Back runs, like is he the type to try and cut back a lot, hit the hole and go, or wants to try and get it the outside. Then, finally I break down how the Quarterback is on pass plays, like does he like to stay in the pocket or does he try to run, and also if he eyes down his primary Receiver the whole time or does he like to look at his options.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

What separates me from other players in this position is my mindset to be the best there is. I take the time to really work on my weaknesses and try to make myself a complete package at my position. I also lead by example.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

On the field, I’m bringing the energy and competitiveness. I have the ability on the field to be a general and put everybody in the right spots, being that Linebacker that can run sideline to sideline, and is great against the run. Off the field, I represent my organization well and I love giving back to the community and helping out every chance I get, and stay busy to stay out of trouble.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

If you want a Linebacker that’s going to work hard and help improve your defense, I can be that guy. I’m the type of person that is coachable and you’ll see it translate to the field. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to take the team where it wants to go no matter what it is. Any way I can help the team, I’ll do it.
