Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

One main goal I wanted to accomplish was to win a national championship. A lot of people don’t have the chance to be able to but it’s always nice being put into a position where you can, and unfortunately it did not happen this year. Also, I set yardage and TD goals for myself this year that I fell short of but overall it was a good year.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say I’m one of the hardest workers they know. I never see a reason why you shouldn’t work hard and I pride myself on that.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I focus on multiple things. When watching practice film I pay close attention to route depths, openings in certain zone coverages so I know where to be at and when and I also focus on technique. All 3 of those components really allow me to become a better receiver and at the end of the day that’s the goal.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Something that separates me from others is I believe how hard I work. I am a true believer in practice makes perfect especially when you’re busting your tail day in and day out. I don’t know there’s just something itching and nagging at me to be so much better than the day I was before and that all comes through practice. Especially coming from a D3 school I’ve had to work hard to get to where I’m at today and a lot harder than other people. Another thing I believe separates me from others is my route running. That’s something that I focused on a lot this past summer and it has definitely paid off.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I’ve been working with Sacrifice Training since last spring so they are always going to be my go to and I know they are going to get me right but overall pretty soon I’m going to be getting in contact with some agents and have my pro day in the spring and see what comes with all of that.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Like I mentioned earlier is hard work and route running. I feel like those are two major things that can help any team and especially at the receiver position. I also love to learn and study. When it comes to football/getting better, I feel like having those two traits will help too.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

I’ve always wanted to play football at the pro level ever since I started playing in 7th grade. It has always been a dream and to know it can become a reality is just crazy to me. Anywhere that you put me I will learn, study, and listen to become the best player I can. I will work harder than your hardest working player and show you why I should be there. If there’s an opportunity I’m going to take full advantage of it and prove to everyone that I belong and show everyone why I belong. When the opportunity comes I’m going to grab a hold of it and never let it go because this is what I want and this is what I believe god intended for me to do.
