My goals were to win a conference and national championship. Our team shared the conference title and came up short of the national championship. I finished my career with 3,300+ rushing yards, 600 receiving yards, I was a 2022 Team Captain, I was 3 Time All Conference, 2 Time All-Region, 2nd in School History of Rushing yards, attempts and 100-yard rushing games(17), a 2022 Gagliardi Semi-Finalist and I was 2022 Offensive Player of the Year for the WIAC.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say I am someone who shows up everyday with a great attitude and my style of play is playing for the team not myself. Every practice, every play and every game is played like my last. They would say I am someone who is willing to sacrifice to make the team better.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When prepping for a game I focus on defensive tendencies, when we are in this personell what will the defense be in, blitz tendencies, coverages and observe each person on the defenses strengths and weaknesses. As for how i improve my play, it starts with footwork: how I can improve to make my play more efficient, train my eyes to see the whole play develop for the first and second read, and pick out the little details of each play to better me going forward.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I believe my work ethic, I have learned at the high school level and college level what I need to do to keep my level of play being the best. I have always been undersized so I have learned each year how to make that a positive and use it to succeed. And lastly, my versatility, i can play at multiple positions to help my team succeed.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I have currently been training with Kerry Neal. His Pre Draft group at Win Performance in Highland Park. We are working 6 days a week for 4 hours a day, there are some of the nations top draft prospects who I am training with. Kerry himself has a roster of over 20 current NFL players.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Attitude, Effort and Willingness to Learn. The three most important traits a player must bring to the team on and off the field. I bring that every day to the team so the coaches and other players can always expect my best.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I am a player that loves the game of football with everything I have. I know whoever will give me an opportunity will benefit from it. All I ask for is that you give me a shot and I will promise that you will be investing in someone who will be able to make an impact and help your team in a positive way.
