Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

My goals coming into my last season were to lead the team in tackles, tackles for loss, sacks, and pass defended. My biggest goal was becoming a better person off the field than I was on the field.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Three words to describe my style of play are fast, physical, and calm.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

This off-season with the help of Grossiti Performance, I will be training harder than I ever have before and become faster than I ever been. Also, I will take my knowledge of the game to a whole different level. The biggest thing is taking every rep with the mindset that I’m fighting for the last spot on a roster.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

When I study film, I focus on all the tendencies of the offense. I look how many times they run or pass the ball a game. What are their favorite route combinations and what their favorite run plays are. I also look for what kind of blocking scheme the Offensive Line uses, then I will look and see if they give away when it’s a run or pass. The most important thing I look for is who’s the best player on their offense and their weakness, so when game day comes, I can attack their weakness every single play.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

I will have to say my speed and physicality. In my college career, playing outside linebacker running a 4.4, made the game a lot easier. Being able to play in the box with the big boys and then having the ability to go out and cover the slot WR one on one in press coverage 85% of the time is a blessing.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The strengths that will bring to a team on and off the field will be, on the field, I’m willing to do anything that I’m need to do. I will bring hard work, more speed, and physicality. I’m also one of those players that if I’m playing only special teams and it will help the team, I’m 100% fine with that long, as I can make the team better some way, some how. Off the field will be my work ethic in the film room and in the weight room. Also, I will hold myself accountable for anything I do.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

My final pitch to NFL or any pro league scout is that I can bring a lot to the table with my leadership, skill set, and the passion for the game. I have the “it” factor.
