Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

To win a 3rd SoCon Championship in a row, which we did. To be SoCon Defensive Player of the Year and an All American. I fell short of these last two however I was still blessed to be on the All SoCon Defensive 1st Team.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say I’m a passionate and cerebral player. I pride myself on knowing what is going on all over the field. I want to know my responsibilities as well as everyone on the entire defense, I believe that gives me an advantage in understanding where the offense can attack and what we need to be weary in certain situations. I want to be the smartest player on the field. And the passion just comes out in practice, training, games or whatever. I love this game. God has given me the ability to play it and I want to take and allow Him to use me in this game as He sees fit for His kingdom!

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

It depends on whether I’m looking at the run or pass. I like to split up when looking at film. In the run game I want to notice stances (backs & lineman), formations (every teams has a few formations where they only run 2-3 plays, noticing all formations isn’t always possible but those specific ones should give plays away). In the pass game I want to know their favorite concepts and when they typically are going to run them. For example on 3rd down and medium there’s a team he wants to run crossers. That’s something I need to know.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I believe my knowledge to understand the game of football as a whole separates me. Everyone knows their position and what’s going on there but not everyone wants to or capable of delving deeper to understand the game at another level. I also believe my ability to long snap separates me. I’ve been the 2nd sting LS my entire College career and have the ability to do it at a high level!

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I’m training with Titus Williams @DJ2xs864_ He is a beast and does things the right way! He’s definitely been a blessing! He’s has helped me grow tremendously!

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My strengths are from God. My entire life I’ve been in leadership positions and have had the ability to bring people along. Everyone works hard, everyone grinds which I will do as well but my biggest strength is encouragement. I motivate and encourage people at another level, on and off the field. GROWTH is my MO and what I want from everyone. (Gradually Recreating One’s Weak Thoughts & Habits)

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

Lastly I would just tell them if you want to know what you’d get from me to ask my teammates and coaches. I love them, I love the game, I love the training, I love the preparation, I love the hurt and pain, I love the scheme. I love the way football can change lives and that’s what I’m going to take with me wherever I go and that’s love. Love is what drives me.
