Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
Some of my goals that i set was to go 1-0 every week and win the conference back to back. And make a run for that national championship. I also set out personal goals for myself to become an all KCAC player in my final season and do my job to the best of my ability every Saturday.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I’m a leader and guy that will come to work everyday and give it all he has. A guy that will make sure he’s bringing others up with him and I’m definitely a guy that anyone of my teammate could count on to be there for them on and off the field. And just a dog, a super hard worker that just has a drive that won’t quit.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
I try to study the offense by formation, down & distance & personnel . I Use these as ways to pick up tendencies in order to help my team win. But i try to get in the mind of the OC and figure what he’s trying to do to the defense.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
Everyone as endured some sort of hardship, i feel like I’m not isolated to that but it’s definitely what drives me. My passion to never give up no matter the adversity that i am facing. I’m a guy that is ready to go into any locker room and play whatever position in order to help the team win.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I will travel back home to Florida to train for the first half of the training process then head back to Kansas and continue to train with my trainer. Planning to eat well, put on some good weight, and train 40 hours a week.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My strengths on the field is my football IQ and leadership and my ability to communicate. My feet are also one of my greatest ability, my ability to change direction and get out of breaks are gold feet certified.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
I just need one shot. One chance. I’m ready to give it 1000%.
