Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
Honestly my goals for this season were to enjoy my last season playing in a Mississippi Valley State uniform and win a SWAC championship.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Smart, Physical, and Smooth.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I will train to perfect the small things, whether it’s explosiveness in and out of routes, basic techniques to blocking, or recognizing and finding holes in coverage.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
I look for player tendencies, looking for every little thing that sets them apart from other defenders.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
I’m very technical and smart. Little things matter to me. The way I prepare, my mental approach to things, etc.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I’m an overall team player. I like doing what’s best to benefit a team and helping achieve the team’s ultimate goal.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
Playing for a higher level of football would be an absolute blessing. I’m not the type to brag on myself, but I would say that I’m a player that loves the game. I’m a very smart person on the field. I love blocking and making plays when needed. Whatever is used to benefit the team, I’m prepared for.
