What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The main goal was helping my team find ways to win as many games as possible.
Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
I was able to take more time to work on my game, whether it be in the film room or on the field working my craft.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I’m a team player and my main focus before anything was winning. I love to win.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
Watching myself, I always focus on my movements because being a step slow is the difference in making a big play to help the team or not. So really just making sure there are no wasted movements as far as coming out of breaks and having the right angles in the run game.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me is that I am comfortable at all 5 positions in the defensive backfield.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I plan to stay in the Atlanta area to work on physical attributes and also continue to watch film to work on the mental side of the game as well.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
On the field I feel my versatility is my strength that will stand out alongside my ball skills. Off the field I always enjoy talking ball and watching film with my teammates to pick their brains in order for the both of us to to get a feel for what each other will do in situations before we even get there which I feel will help us win games.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I’m a versatile DB that will be comfortable anywhere and I also take a lot of pride in special teams work because those are also big play opportunities that helps the team win in big games.
