What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I wanted to show that I’m a dominate interior DL and I feel like I put just that on tape. Another goal of mine was to let my game come to me, making sure that I make the plays that I’m supposed to make.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I think with the safety protocols that are in place because of Covid, I feel as if I had no option but to lock in and focus on improving on and off the field.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They will tell you that I lead by example. I respect the game of football, and that I don’t mind putting the work in to get better. They will also tell you that I enjoy practice.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

The first thing I look at is my alignment because it’s the start of everything. My get off and hand placement is what I look at a lot when watching film.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me is my work ethic. The power I bring with my hands off the ball and stopping the run. I love the process of working to get better. I’m the guy that’s willing to do whatever I need to do to help the team.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason training plan for professional opportunities is revolves around clean diet. Training two times a day, morning lifts & field workout in the afternoon. Along with active recovery on the weekends.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I make it your linebackers job much easier, because I can control the line of scrimmage. Having the mindset of playing until the whistle every play. Off the field I bring the ability to have positive impacts on peoples lives, especially the youth.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

You won’t regret picking me, as simple as that.
