Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

An early goal I set was to become team captain, which was accomplished. This was meaningful due to the amount of respect and value your teammates have to credit you with. Another goal was to become an all conference player and leave my mark. This was also accomplished at the year of the season. So those were huge honors for me and means a lot that other recognize my play.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I believe they would say I’m an intelligent playmaker. Of course the big plays are seen by everyone and I will provide those. But the technical things like a key block, or changing a route up due to certain coverages. That’s what stands out about my game I believe. And when my numbers called I’m making the play.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I focus on ways to exploit the defense, and improve route running. Overall I look to expand on my IQ. You can always find new things to learn about the game, that’s what makes it so great. You’ll learn a lot about yourself when being your hardest critic. You’ll see good and bad, all that matters is finding ways to improve your game and implying them in your play.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My mentality, I’m a dog and I give it my all 100%. My playmaking ability, when I get an opportunity I’ll take advantage whether it’s a one on one, 3rd pass, 50/50 ball or punt return. Then last my IQ/preparation, I will always be prepared for the game and will always have an answer to what the defense is doing.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I plan on doing combine/pro day prep. Doing every little thing to improve my skill set. This is what will help my chances at the next level. I will be improving my speed and getting stronger. Plus perfecting my footwork/route technique and catching. Just become a better player and student of the game.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My hands, catching everything and making plays whenever I get an opportunity. I was voted team captain at a D1 program, so that speaks volumes about the leadership I bring. But also I bring myself as a person. I never try to be someone else, stay true, work hard and stay humble. Providing energy and bringing enthusiasm on and off the field.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

I’m willing to do whatever I can do to help the team win games. I will play any position to the best of my ability. Doing whatever the team asks of me to do. I will bring IQ, leadership, cohesiveness, playmaking ability and many more traits to help the team. I will work hard for everything I earn.
