What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My goal for the season was to come in and make an impact, and I believe that I did that. Although statistically it wasn’t what I was used to at Saint Francis I believe that I did accomplish my goal of making an impact on my team.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

With the extra year of eligibility I was able to not only play 4 seasons at Saint Francis, but I was able to transfer up to the division 1 level and play at Indiana State. I think this allowed me more opportunities to be seen in front of NFL scouts, and with moving up I was able to play with/against future NFL players.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say that I am smart and very hard working. I am the type of guy to come in and learn everything I possibly can to be successful. I am also the type of player that is an extremely hard worker in the weight room.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

Some things I focus on with regard to watching film would be the other teams tendencies, who they like to get the ball to in certain situations, and how they like getting them the ball.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I believe that my versatility is key, and my willingness and ability to contribute on special teams in many different ways. Throughout my career I’ve played every position on the back end and that ability to move around is something I take pride in and it’s something that differs me.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Right now I am back home training everyday in preparation for our pro day in March. I train at Pro X Pace in Westfield, Indiana and have been focusing on improving my technique, strength, and overall speed to perform as well as possible in front of scouts at our pro day.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Some of my strengths would be how hard of a worker I am, I have always had that underdog mentality and because of that I’ve always wanted to outwork everyone no matter the situation I’m put in. I have the versatility to play any position in the secondary as well as being able to play in the box. With me teams are going to get someone who is solely focused on improving every single day with my head down focused on my job.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

To any perspective team willing to take a chance on me, you’re going to get someone that is going to give you everything, and someone that is going to be a consistent tackler, someone that on and off the field is solely focused on football. With me you’re not going to have to worry about any outside noise, and you’re going to get a player that is willing to do anything to help the team succeed.
