What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I had two main goals set for my last season repeat all conference and win the OVC. I achieved my first goal even with missing a few games and sadly we fell short of my second goal but it was still a great season for our program.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

The biggest thing I gained from coming back I believe was one getting more great film of myself and two was to play against great competition again such as the University of Cincinnati.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I think my coaches and teammates would describe me as a player who truly loves the game and is going to give it his everything on every snap he plays.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I watch film I always watch my self first and really grade my technique. My steps, my hands, and my sets mainly. The second thing is I will watch the man lined up across from me for hours. Trying to see if he gives anything away with his stance or hand gestures etc, and then same goes for the defense as a whole.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I think the biggest thing that separates me from other prospects at my position if my overall football IQ, being able to look at a defense and tell what is going to happen, and secondly just how much I truly love the game of football.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I will be training down at Armed Sports in Houston, TX for my pro day and any upcoming professional opportunities.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I think attitude is one, I do my best to not be negative or lower the energy. Another is again just my love for the game, I really do love football I will do something with football for the rest of my life whether it be play or coach. Lastly my effort, I do everything at my maximum effort in anything in life whether it be as a person or a player.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My last pitch is I know I have what it takes to play at the next level in any league. I have played with and against pro guys my entire career and know what it takes to play at that level. I’m willing to do anything for the benefit of a team and to make it successful, I’m going to be all in. Lastly I just want to play the game. My goal is the NFL, but I would be grateful to play in any other professional league!
