Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

Going into my senior season at SDSU, some my goals were to help my team win a championship, continue to improve myself as a player, be an All-American, and to be a great leader of our team.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Three words to describe my style of play would be Technician, Relentless, and Physical.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I’m currently training at Test Football Academy in New Jersey preparing for my Pro Day while also doing offensive line work with former NFL Offensive Lineman Rich Seubert.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

When I’m studying film, I take notes on the Defensive Linemen, Linebackers, and Safeties. I look for their different alignments, the techniques they use, and their tendencies. Once our team has a game plan, I go back through and watch every possible defensive look we could get against each play and in my head run through my calls and the blocking assignments. I know how important proper film study is so I spend countless hours studying it to know that I am as prepared as possible.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

I was a three year team Captain at SDSU and have excellent leadership skills. I have a high football IQ. I have an unmatched work ethic in every workout, practice, and every game. My athletic ability allows me to pull and make difficult blocks at the Center position. I’ve also proven my durability by starting 53 consecutive games in college and never missing a practice.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

On the field, I am the guy who is very passionate towards the game of football and will consistently put in the work (film, strength & conditioning, practice) needed every single day to be the best player at my position. I will help make teammates around me better as a leader. I’m also a very coachable player who is constantly looking for ways to improve my game. On and off the field, I am a great leader, a person with great character and a man of integrity. I am a “winner.”

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

I have prepared myself for an opportunity to play in the NFL. I will be a player that shows up every day and works his tail off. I have a great football IQ and work ethic, I’m very coachable, and I love the game. I have the characteristics to come in, compete, and help the organization win! Now, I need the opportunity to showcase myself.
