Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I wanted to play for something bigger than myself. So I dedicated my whole senior season to my high school coach. Coach O’Danial who died. My goal was to put my all out there and made sure whatever I did on the field would make him proud. I think did accomplish my goals by getting first team honors in my conference.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I think the coaches and players would say I’m a high energy guy who comes to work everyday, Who does his job to help his team win games. Definitely a team first guy all the way.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
Well I have been trying to learn how to watch film properly. Usually I watch the other players i am going against. And some scheme. Trying to learn how to get a more in-depth break down on offensive schemes.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me from other prospects at my position is my work ethic and drive. I love working hard. I love a good challenge when it presents itself. Any team that picks my up is getting a smart football player with great football instincts on the field that can’t be taught.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Offseason plan was to train at landow performance but now I’m just training in my basement and hitting the field. Doing the ray lewis 52 card workout everyday. Been working out twice a day agility/ field work during the day then the 52 card workout at night.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My Strengths and abilities I will say are I have a good size and length That a lot of coaches can work with. I’m very coachable. I love the game I have fun whenever I step on the field, that is why I play. Off the field I’m a guy that is focus on his goals and I try to be a good leader to his teammates.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL/CFL or any other pro leagues?
Final pitch is: take a chance on me cause you won’t regret it. I’m not really about talking about it, get me on your team and I’ll work to prove myself. I give everything I have for this game, blood, sweat and tears.
