Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

My goals were to focus on technique more and gap control more.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Physical, Discipline, Aggressive.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I will focus on endurance, it’s cool to be able to bench 450 pounds, but endurance is very important for the 225 test. Also speed, D lineman in the NFL/ CFL are very fast, so speed is a key point as well.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

When I watch film, it goes from the spits of the Lineman. I check the habits that the Lineman show when its a run or pass, only great Lineman can hide it. I also look at the depth of the Running Back to see the flow of the play. It varies also with the depth of the Running Back if its a zone, sweep, power, iso, etc.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

I have the power to command a double team and hold my ground, and I also have speed to pursuit and get to the ball faster than people than a normal Defensive Tackle.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I will bring a coachable mindset to however a scheme is ran at a certain time. I am very disciplined when it comes to plays. My abilities will benefit any team. I’m fast, strong, and give it 100% when I’m on the field. Off the field, I handle myself very professionally and love helping people with whatever I can.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

My final pitch, football saved my life. It molded me into the man I am today. I grind and the principle of the sport I fell in love with. Whatever team gives me the opportunity will be a blessing in my eyes and I will do everything in my power to help the team become successful.
