Name: Henry Litwin
School: Slippery Rock University

Height: 5’11”
Weight: 195

Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Before leaving Slippery Rock I made it a goal of mine to break all of the major statistics for wide receiver. With the help of my teammates I was able to set school records in Total Rec (221), Rec Yds (3,392), and Rec TDs (42) in just 3 years. I also had the honor of being named Captain of my team, being a finalist for the William V Campbell Award, being a finalist for the Harlon Hill Trophy, being named All-American, and being named the Academic All-American of the Year for Division II.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

With my extra year of eligibility I was able to show that I could consistently produce big numbers year after year. My 2019 season got everyone’s attention but it was with my extra year of eligibility in 2021 that I could earn an opportunity at the next level.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I think my coaches and teammates would tell you how passionate and hardworking I am when it comes to football. I’ve always wanted my teammate’s to know that about me because that type of stuff is contagious. And if they saw me doing everything in my power to be the best I could be I knew they’d do the same.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I was extremely lucky to have some of the best coaches in all of college football at Slippery Rock. They taught me how watch film as a player but also as a coach as well. So when I watch film I’m breaking down the entire defense so I know exactly what they’re trying to do. Then I focus on my job and what I can do to break their scheme.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I personally think I have skills and attributes that are very hard to come by. For example, my ball skills/contested catch skills are some of the things I do extremely well. But what really sets me apart from other prospects is my knowledge of the game.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I have a personal trainer here in Pittsburgh that I train with each week. I’ve been really focusing on my speed and my route running this offseason.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Like I stated earlier my knowledge of the game and being able to read defenses is something I think teams will admire. Also, with my size and athletic ability I can be used in many different ways. So when it comes to special teams I can play a lot of different roles.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

If I’m blessed with an opportunity to play at the next level I just want whichever team to know that they’re going to get everything I’ve got. I’m committed to the game and everything that comes with it. Since walking-on at Slippery Rock University I’ve never taken anything for granted and that’s still true to this day. I’m willing to prove it.
