What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

As a team, we wanted to have a historic season by breaking as many offensive records as possible. We did so with flying colors. Personally, I wanted to finish off my career as an All-American and I can happily say I achieved that as well.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I think I was able to get a lot of great film this year and take advantage of getting more live game reps so I can continue to develop my technique and skills.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I think they would say that I am a guy who can be held accountable and continually be relied upon. That I will always give my best when the time comes.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I like to watch the tendencies that my opponent has. What type of moves work for them and how can I counteract that and be sure I can have success in stopping it.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I am undersized compared to your traditional OL. I have had to develop skills over the course of my career to make up for the size difference. Having quick feet and hands has allowed me to use my athleticism to my advantage with gaining leverage against any defender.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I have teamed up with a personal trainer to help develop my speed and strength and also help train for a pro day if given the opportunity.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I bring a work ethic that is consistent and the will to continually learn. I lead by example and will always do what is asked of me and will never expect someone else to do what I don’t.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My entire career I have been overlooked and every time I over deliver. Being the underdog has resonated with me and I love the challenge it brings. Success is earned and I believe I have every tool and skill set to achieve it at any professional level if given the opportunity.
