Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Going into my senior year the biggest goal accomplished was winning the rose bowl and pac 12 championship I wanted to display top notch pass rush and run stopping abilities but to overall show that I’m a playmaker and can have an effect on the game I was unfortunately injured in the 5th game of the season but before that I won pac 12 defensive lineman of the week.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say I’m a very action driven leader I’m consistent, will always have great effort to the ball and I’ll come out everyday to prefect my craft.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

As a defensive lineman there so many re snap tips and indicators you can use to give a hint of what play you might get first I’d have and idea of what plays they run depending on down and distance then I’d associate those plays with the given formation. Then I’d look at the OL stance (are there feet even or staggered does he have a lot of pressure on his down hand) When you watching film and on the field you can also pick up on certain hand signals passed along.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Aside from my passion to be great I’m a technician on the field and in the film room. I have great length and I’m athletic helping me to have success pass rushing from any position on the Dline. Finally running to the ball I believe high effort to the ball can erase any mistakes me or my brother has made.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Because I was injured in the 5th game of the season I plan to prepare for my next football opportunity with the help of the staff at Landow Performance before and after pro day.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I’ve always been a player that’s all about the team first I’ve been told I’m very action driven and this has been shown by not only doing extra work in the weight room or watching extra film but to also encourage other players to come along. I know that it takes 11 to have success on defense and because I’ve always surrounded myself with other competitors I know that we’re not only getting better as a team but also driving each other individually.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

I’m a player thats hungry to be the best however my season was cut short due to an injury but before that I won Pac 12 defensive lineman of the week. I’m looking for an opportunity to put my skills on display and continue to prove myself.
