Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
Have a winning season, 1st Team All-Conference, All-Region, All-American, and set records.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Smart, Instinctive, and Ball Skills.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
Train every day with my trainer Rod Jones and agent Gary Glick.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
How the Quarterback takes his drops, Quarterback’s release when he throws, and how the Wide Receivers come off the ball every play. If the team is a read-option team, I look to see if the Running Back is in front of the Quarterback or behind him.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
Ball skills, football IQ, range, and length.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I’m a people person, I get along with everyone. I will bring ball skills, to be a professional you need to have great ball skills or you’re average. I’m an outgoing and caring person who loves to see others happy.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
I love special teams. I can run down the field and create fumbles on punt team and kickoff. Watch my film, you will see the instincts and professional level ball skills. I’m a student of the game, I love everything about it. I love putting in overtime and being low maintenance. I learn fast and can play any concept of a defense from ANYWHERE in the secondary. I can read 3 step or 5 steps throws really good. I am a good communicator and will have everyone on the same page. Also, I have a basketball background and can high point a football as if it’s a rebound coming off the rim.
