Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
A few goals I had set before my final season was to help the team win and to have one of the best records in the past couple years. Another goal of mine was to lead the team in yards per carry, and to be top 5 in yards per carry in the conference. We ended up going 8-3, had the opportunity to compete in our conference championship as well as compete in the 1st inaugural Lakefront Bowl.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say I’m a hard runner. My teammates would say I’m a fun person to be around and I’m a hard worker. My coaches would say I’m a person who steps up to the challenge and doesn’t disappoint.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When studying film I watch each player on the defensive on how they tackle. I watch to see if they like going at your ankles or if they like to try and fit you up. I watch for tendencies from linebackers and linemen. I watch myself to see if I hit the right hole or if I could have done something different each play.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
The thing that separates me from others is that I will outwork them. I don’t give up on things when it gets hard. I love getting overlooked because when it’s my time to shine I like seeing the reactions of the people who overlooked me and said I couldn’t do it.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My offseason plan is to get back in the lab and perfect my craft. I will be training with spring prep academy. He does a lot of weight room and on the field work. I plan to work 110% in my training and to be ready for any opportunity that comes to me.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I bring a wide range of skills to a team. Offensively I’m not scared to lower my head and get the extra yard. I can pick up a block to protect the QB. I can catch the ball out the backfield and I run hard anytime I touch the ball. I’m the type of player that will step up if the team needs me to. I can play special teams too. I love to block and I love to hit.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
If you select me on your team you will not regret it. I’m a difference maker, and I will work for anyone to be successful. I’m going to give my all to whatever team gives me a chance. I pick up playbooks quickly and I’m ready to go. I would love to play overseas if a team is interested in giving me a chance to continue my playing career.
