What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
Just to be the best not to give up as many receiving yards as possible and that’s what I did accomplished that goal.
Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
Was great giving me an opportunity to get a chance to showcase my self and talents knowing that there are superstars in division 2 schools.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
That I’m about business, when I step on the field they look towards me to step up and make a play in the defensive backfield knowing I’m capable of making a play at any time when thrown my way.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
Where the wide receiver is lined up, is he on the numbers, outside the numbers, so that helps my game to give me an advantage of where he will be running his routes.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me, I can play man coverage, I can play zone coverage, willing to come up and tackle. I can also read the guard and the tackle to see pass or run, some players don’t do that, just going off ability, but that helps when you can read certain pointers.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Stay focused, eat healthy more fruit to keep the body right, running, core work outs, staying in shape.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Able to play in the nickel, outside, just being able to make plays, read plays, being vocal for my team standing out. Off the field just helping out the communities and people in need, being there when the coach needs me.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
That I’m ready to work, this is not a game, I’m here for business. To make plays, to fly around, win games, to be one of the best to do it. I love being the under dog because we are the ones who keep a steady name at the next level.
