Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
My goals going into my last collegiate season were finishing top 5 in tackles on the team, having at least 10 TFLs and 10 sacks, gain 1st Team All-Conference, 1st Team Don Hansen All-Region, and 1st Team All-American.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Finesse, Power, and Twitchy (Explosive).
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I will training down in Tuscaloosa, Alabama with Johhny Jackson at JPI Sports, primarily working on being explosive and building maximum strength.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
I look for the offensive lineman tendencies as they are going through their progression on run blocks and pass blocks to see what their hands and feet are doing constantly to perfect my timing for game time.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
My ability with my hands and my quickness with my hips and my get off separates me from other players at my position, having great hands at the defensive line position is a key factor.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
The strengths that will bring on the field to a team is pure dedication, hard work ethic, and knowledge of the game, which is something I always strived to bring to the table as I progressed over the years. The strengths that I would bring off the field is great character, support, and uplift, which is key essentials to me.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
I am a dynamic player that can play any spot in the interior defensive line and my knowledge of the game to be able to pick up on schemes and plays that is presented to me to be successful is something that I dedicate myself on and I’m a savvy player that hustles to the ball, not giving up on the play yards down the field.
