What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My goal every season is to win a conference championship and give everything I have each game. Although the season didn’t end how we wanted, I was able to earn a spot on the All-Conference team.
Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
I think I put another great year of play on my resume that displayed my accuracy, commitment to protecting the football, and ability to effectively lead an offense.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say that I’m always going to give it all I have and that I have a high football IQ.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I am always studying defensive tendencies. Before each game I like to be prepared for whatever a defense shows. Additionally, I like to make sure my footwork in games doesn’t differ from practice.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me from others is my unselfishness, desire to compete, and football IQ.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
After participating in the FCS National Bowl, I plan to continue to train with former teammates in Columbus, Ohio.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I am a high character teammate that can be counted on in a variety of scenarios. I am also someone who can relate and connect with just about anyone.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I have a proven track record over the past four years, both on and off the field, that I am a leader and someone who can be trusted no matter the circumstance.
