Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Some goals I set this year are, be the best teammate I can be on and off the field, and to set an example for people to follow for upcoming years. Another goal was focusing on one game at a time to reach a national championship. Also, I strived to improve better as a player than the previous years before just improving my all around game as a whole.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I am coachable, selfless, and strong willed. I am someone that you can depend on, and a vocal presence in the room. I am a positive energy and love and appreciate the game of football. Because of this I do anything that is asked of me. I am a tone setter, and strive to make the best out of any situation.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When watching film on opponents, I focus on things such as the way they line up in formations from the linemen to receivers, running backs and the quarterback alignment and spacing can give you an idea of what play is being run during your presnap reads. Also learning your opponents too, plays and sets. Learning who their go to guys are and prepping myself mentally for the whole matchup. Studying your opponents makes the game a lot easier and you are able to flow much faster. Watching myself on film I look for things to critic myself and improve making me a better player and teammate.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Film study, I am one of the smartest football players at my position. The game of football is more of a mental game than physical. I have a bigger desire, want too, and a bigger why. My heart is unmatched when it comes to the game of football I am a guy that will leave everything I have on the field without question.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plan for offseason training consists of running, running and more running seven days a week. Just making sure that I am in the best shape that I can push my body to be in so if or when I get that call I’ll be ready for it.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The strengths and abilities that would stand out would be that I have a very strong work ethic, I am vocal and a natural born leader, leading by example, I am humble because I know my strengths and weaknesses, and I am coachable.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

If you are looking for a player that does everything that you ask and does not have any on field or off field problems then I am your guy. I am versatile, coachable, and will give all that I have on and off the field. My love for the game allows me to expand my knowledge as I progress onward. My passion for the game allows me to be selfless putting the team before myself. My want too, why, and heart allows me to push through and defeat any task given at hand to the best of my abilities. Given the chance I would not disappoint.
