Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
A goal of mine this season was to execute in man coverage. I accomplished this goal by allowing zero man to man touchdowns all year. Another goal of mine that I accomplished this final season was earning First Team All-Conference.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
If my coaches and teammates were asked about me they would say I’m a relentless competitor whose confident and trusts his technique and abilities. I play with a lot of heart, will, and determination. They would also tell you I’m a team player that can play cornerback,safety, and nickel. I’m a hard worker who brings a lot of energy to the game.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When studying film I look for many things such as tendencies and pre- snap indicators. I also like to pay attention to formations and personnels, what zones the offense targets most, there favorite route schemes and plays.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My versatility, being able to make contributions to my team from multiple positions and in many ways on the field. Also being able to win my one on one matchups and being able to tackle in space.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Currently I’ve been training 5x a week. In the morning I’ll go to gym and workout then in the evening I’ll go to the field and workout.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Any team that has me has a reliable, smart, and confident football player. They will also be getting a player who can make plays from many positions. A team first guy who takes pride in his craft and a physical tackler who can tackle in the open field.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I’ve been playing football all my life it’s my passion and it’s what I do best. My whole life since I was 6 I’ve wanted to be a professional football player. I’ve worked hard my entire life to make this dream a reality and I know when I get the opportunity I’m going to make the most of it. I will not let anybody who gives me an opportunity to better me and my families life down. I’ve prepared myself to play at a high level and I truly believe that I can be a asset to any professional team. I have a championship mindset and I’m very coachable I’m willing to compete and improve everyday.
