Name: Elijah Harper

Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My main goal was to become an All-American receiver this year and help my team reach the D2 playoffs, unfortunately neither happened but I was still able to help us get a few wins and received All-Conference honors for the second year in a row.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
A very passionate and hard working player. I love the game a lot and it does with how driven I am to be as great as I can.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I focus on the defenders tendencies that right there will tell me how I need to run my routes and where I can really take advantage of the opposing team.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My quickness, I feel as if me being a taller receiver that nobody expects me to move as fast or as quick as I do so it catches the defender off guard and I use that to my advantage.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My offseason plan as of right now is to go train down in Dallas to prepare me for my pro-day. I attended the FCS Bowl at the beginning of December and also got invited to the Tropical Bowl where I will be playing in at the end of January to try and boost my draft stock. Also doing as many interviews as I can to get my name out there.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My mindset and speed will standout the most. I know coming into the league you have to have the right mindet in order to succeed if not you will more than likely fall off and I believe my speed will get me on the field even if it isn’t at WR I can use my speed to get a special teams spot whether it’s returning kicks or running down to make tackles on special teams.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
You would get somebody that is dedicated and ready to come to work on time everyday, someone that takes advantage of all of his opportunities and a player that will give 100% effort all of the time.
