Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?
I was able evolve as a player. Adding more weapons to my arsenal. Doing that helped be more of an impact player for my coaches and teammates.
Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?
Hard worker, extremely physical, that I have a dominant presence. During team meetings, I’m often compared to the greats Aaron Donald and Ndakmukong Suh because of how disruptive I am against the opposing offense.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
I focus on making sure I’m using my hands, staying low at all times, and using the technique I was taught throughout camp and the football season. Also, very importantly taking the right steps when I engage. Don’t like giving up ground.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
What separates me from others is my power, hand placement, my physicality, and my get off. My quickness off the snap gives me a huge advantage. Especially for a guy my size.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
A lot of cone drills, also strength and conditioning. Can’t allow myself to get outworked because I was not in shape.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
The strengths and abilities I can bring to the field is my ability of being a game changer. When I play to the best of my ability, I am able to make big stops to help put our offense in good position to put points on the board. My leadership is something I bring on and off the field. By staying humbled and hard working. Also, being coachable and ready to come in and learn everyday.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
If given the opportunity, I promise I will not disappoint. This is all I know how to do, play football. I can fit into any scheme and am willing to put myself in any position to help the team. My impact to any organization will be a positive one. I’m ready to come in and help the organization reach and win multiple Championships.
