Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

This season was definitely special for me because it seemed as if every goal I had set for myself I accomplished it. After the 2018 season I made a goal to drop 30 pounds or more, get a combine invite and a senior bowl invite. Although I fell short on a few other goals I was still proud to accomplish my top goals in which I ended up losing 55 pounds, and got invited to the National Bowl and Tropical Bowl in Daytona Beach, Florida and the National Scouting Combine down in Indianapolis.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

This one was hard because I felt like they would say a lot but I think they would say I’m a player with great character, leadership and a crazy work ethic.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

For me I try to focus on all the little things that I do wrong because in this sport it’s the little things that will get you beat in a game. I also study to see any tendencies my opponents may show because if I know what the opponent is trying to do it’ll make the game easier for me.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

The cerebral aspect of the game along with my leadership and physicality.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I plan to get in the best shape of my life and to make sure that happens I plan on getting a nutritionist and training at a facility that specializes in combine and DL work so that when it’s time to report for my combine & pro day I’ll put up the best numbers possible.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

On the field will be my ability to stop the run game and the leadership value I bring to a locker room. I’m a guy that will not only hold myself accountable but everyone else around me.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

You will be getting a guy with an unmatched buy-in, a buy in to do whatever means necessary to have great success as a team, a buy-in to be a hard worker and a buy-in to be a leader on and off the field. You will get a guy who is coachable and trustworthy and most importantly you will be getting a guy who will produce!
