Eddie Hamilton: 2020 Pro Prospect Interview

Name: Eddie Hamilton
School: Rowan
Position: DE
Height: 6’4″
Weight: 259

Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I had a goal set to get my first sack and I ended up getting 2!

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say that I’m a selfless player with a lot of god given abilities. I played DT this year for the first time ever. Not a lot of guys would make that sacrifice their senior year to change positions to help the TEAM and not think about themselves.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When I’m studying film I watch my feet tendencies and where I’m lined up, but most importantly I want to improve violent hands with my get off.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me is that I’m no push over. I make my opponent battle for every yard and I make it my business to lead my team in QB hurries and my bigger goal is to get sacks and force turnovers.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason plan is to train with my trainer in AC, and also to return to Rowan and train there on the field.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My strengths and abilities that I bring on and off the field is that I’m relentless at chasing down ball careers while keeping my head on a swivel. I always am my teammates biggest hype man. Off the field I’m always out of trouble and always willing to grow and try new things.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to the NFL is that if you want a positive guy in your locker room that inspires other people to be great and an all around guy that takes responsibility and always gives a maximum effort then your looking at the right guy! I’m always the first one in the gym during the offseason because I’m ALWAYS trying to perfect my game. I’m ready to soak up knowledge like a sponge and use it to be as close to perfect as I can get.
