What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

The only goal I wanted to accomplish was to win a conference championship.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I took advantage of my extra year by playing in a different conference.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say I’m a hard worker, love the game, willingness to do whatever it takes to win and lastly they would say I’m a great teammate because of how I’m able to lead.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I am studying film I look for the little things I do wrong like the length of my steps, hips, how high I am, hand placement and a few other things.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I believe what separates me from other pro prospects is that I’m very technically sound, my knowledge of the game, and that I don’t allow my size to be a disadvantage when I play.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason plan is to recover after having three semesters in a row of high intensity seasons.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I believe my football IQ, relentless work ethic, and my ability to connect with other will be my best strengths.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

Lastly, I would like to say that I’ve always been overlooked my entire life and everybody who has ever taken a chance on me has reap the benefits of my hard work. I went to Southwestern College, got red shirted and later became a 3x time All-American and 2x Rimington winner. They gave me a shot and I took advantage of the opportunities. I used my grad year to play at Ottawa University Arizona, was able to learn a brand new offense with different schemes and finished the season with my fourth All-American. The eye test is very useful, but not everyone can take advantage of an opportunity like I can.
