Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My goals for this season were to lead the conference in tackles and become first team All-Conference, which I was able to accomplish.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say that I’m a player that’s always around the football. If there’s a stop to be made on the defense, they can count on me to get the job done.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
I focus on obvious tells by offense lineman, whether it’s a pass or run and looking at the alignment of the running back to determine where the ball is most likely to go.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My speed, hard hitting ability, and understanding of the game. I’m always trying to improve on my game and learn more about football and I believe that I have the intangible traits to be a successful pro at the next level.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I plan on training 3 times a day, focusing on pro day and combine specific drills, as well as weight training and speed training.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My strengths on and off the field will definitely be my effort, because I won’t stop working to get things done. Whether it’s making a play on 4th and inches or helping in the community, I give everything I do maximum effort.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
My final pitch to the NFL and pro leagues is that if you want an individual that will lay his life on the line between those hash marks and give 100% to the organization, I am the person for the job. I will do whatever it takes to win and will outwork anybody that is in the way of my goals.
