Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

Being able to go to the FCS playoffs and doing whatever it took for my team to win.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Patient, Intelligent, Confident.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

For my pro day, I trained at Traction Performance in Baton Rouge, LA with 12 NFL vetS and current ESPN analyst Ryan Clark. He runs a Defensive Back program called DB precision. He coaches you up in every DB movement and he is a mentor.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

I look at 3rd down plays, the different route tendencies based on formation and WR splits, look at the receivers release vs press, how they run their routes in off man coverage, how the receivers demeanor is when he’s running down the field (does he push down the field to create separation, does he lean, how he acts when it’s a back shoulder vs go route).

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

My intelligence and I’m also long. My arm length can save me if I’m a step behind in coverage. I’ll do my job in the run game from the corner position also.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

A Team will get a player that is intelligent, understands the game of football, and loves playing the game. A player that will contribute on special teams to win ball games.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

Even though I have a small school background, I can play ball, once you take a chance on me, you won’t regret that decision.
