Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My goals were to play at an All Conference level, win a conference championship, and make the postseason.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say I’m persistent, accountable, smart, and tough.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
My technique as well as the opposing teams tendencies and strengths. Being a safety that is very involved in the run game I focus on more than just the WRs because you have to win in the trenches to win games.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My versatility separates me because this past season I played SS, FS, Nickel, OLB, and produced at an All Conference level in arguably the toughest conference in D2. I started this journey as a walk-on but I always knew I would get to this milestone in the journey. Trusting the process and always growing as a person and player, I truly believe with the right opportunity I can’t lose.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I will be training with my cousin who is a strength coach at Detroit Catholic Central.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
On the field I bring technique, football instincts, and football IQ. With these 3 skills I can win every matchup and continue to sharpen my game everyday to help the team win. Off the field I’m a man of high character who wants to have a positive impact on the people around me.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
The tape speaks for itself. The stats don’t lie. The hustle and effort come for free. All I need is an opportunity and I’ll be an asset to any team in any scheme.
