Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My overall goal was to win a championship, and to have a better season overall as a team as well as perform better individually. We didn’t win but had a pretty good 7-3 season. After this final season i was named All-conference for the 4th consecutive time and the first in school history to receive that accomplishment.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say that I’m very dedicated and put the team first before myself, they would say I’m very passionate and work my tail off as well as a player that leads by example.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I focus on little things like my stance, get off and alignment. I study who I’m going against and pick up any tendencies they have from sets to how a lineman kick slides to if they like to punch high low or likes to hold. I also breakdown different moves that could work against what they do and how they scheme plays up. Film is one of the most important parts of football that helps slow the game down for me.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Things that separate me from other prospects is that I can be plugged in to any position and lock in on what i have to do no matter where I’m plugged in at. As a Defensive end i dropped back in coverage as well so i was more of a hybrid player. I used to play offense before college so picking up on what schemes offenses like to do definitely became easier. Also, knowing what my teammates are doing every play helps slow the game down as well.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I will be either traveling to Phoenix, Arizona or St. Louis to train this offseason and improve in all areas of my game.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Anything, I’m a team first player and I want to help my team to be the most successful group no matter what team I’m on. I’m willing to look out for any teammates that need me as much as I need them.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

If you picked me to represent your team/organization, you would get someone who is very hungry, someone who is going to work day in and day out to get better and my team better, someone who is going to take advantage of every opportunity i get. No one would have any regrets selecting me to be apart of their squad.
