Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

A few goals were to obtain my college degree, finish season injury free, be the best at everything I do, and to finish All-SWAC 1st Team and All-American.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Playmaker, Deceptive, Consistent.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

This offseason I will be training in Atlanta at Chip Smith Performance Systems. Chip Smith will help me improve in all areas of my game.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

When studying film, I focus on the whole defense, but mainly the Safeties because the roof tells the whole picture. Like if they are in man or if they are in zone.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

I grasp concepts quickly, discipline, and I always come with a lot of energy and the right attitude.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Positive energy, team player, competitiveness, and leadership.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

I served in the Military prior to playing at Southern University, so I am very coachable, disciplined, and also willing to do the extra work to perfect my craft. On the field, I’m always working on catching, running routes, or blocking. Off the field, I’m in the film room getting extra time in to learn my opponent. On another note, I also give back to my community by volunteering my time to the underserved in the Baton Rouge area. Finally, when given the opportunity to play at the next level, I certainly will not disappoint.
