Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My personal goal was to get 1000 plus rushing yards and I ended up with 1017 in 9 games. I also wanted to become the AAC offensive player of the year and I was blessed to achieve that.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say that I am one of the hardest workers that they have seen. I squat 575 and I am always in the weight room or on the field training. I lead by example, and I’m always going to push my teammates to be the best that they can be.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When I watch film on my opponent, I study how the defense lines up against certain plays that are similar to ours. This helps me see how my linemen will block them and where I can expect to hit the whole pre snap.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I can run the ball in between the tackles , a mismatch for linebackers when I catch the ball, and can return kicks and punts.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
In January, I will be training with Adapt in Atlanta,Georgia to prepare myself for my Pro Day in March.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
On the field I am a fast learner, I feel like no matter the situation I can come in and be a difference maker. Off the field, I can help give back to the community to help kids chase there dreams.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
To the NFL and other pro leagues that are looking to sign me, you are getting a guy that will not quit. Looking back I always believed in myself, and I will continue to do that. I just need one team to take a chance on me.
